Kid plates come from the same ingredients as yours, sized for them, at $40 a meal. Why we built it that way and how families use it.
The Family Style plans cover two adults for lunch and dinner. Kids are an add-on, on purpose. Not every household has children at every meal, and we didn't want anyone paying for plates that don't get eaten.
Same food, smaller plate
Kid plates are built from the same local, organic ingredients as the adult menu, sized for a child. If that's a piece of salmon with farro for you, it's a smaller piece of salmon with farro for them. When kids grow up eating what the adults eat, they tend to keep eating that way. Most families never get the chance to set that standard on a Tuesday night. This is the chance.
When kids won't eat the thing
It happens. If your kids have dietary restrictions or strong preferences, we work with you to find meals they'll actually eat, and we build that into the weekly menu instead of hoping for the best. Tell us in the menu email, or before you start.
What it costs
- Kids: $40 a meal, per child. You only pay for the kids eating with you.
- A nanny or any additional adult: $110 a meal. Lunch only is common.
- Example: a couple, a nanny at lunch, and two kids on the Five Day plan comes to $3,850 a week.
Fruit once a week
Every Family Style plan includes seasonal fruit once a week. It's the simplest thing we deliver and probably the one that disappears fastest.
Questions about this
Do we pay for kids' meals on days they're not home?
No. Kids are $40 per meal, and you only pay for the kids eating with you.
Can the nanny eat lunch only?
Yes. That's the most common setup. Any additional adult is $110 per meal.
Do kids get different food from the adults?
Same ingredients, sized for them. Restrictions and strong preferences are built into the menu with you.
